Live music is BACK!
The night was fantastic. Wasn't sure what to expect with live music indoors - this was my first concert inside since the pandemic started. My friend and I got down to D.C. early to be able to grab dinner and have enough time to get in. We weren't concerned about getting in line early for the doors, so we could take our time. The process for checking vaccination status was seamless and fairly quick; so was the entrance once we got our approved wristbands. I'd never been to this venue before and we were G.A. Standing tickets. We stuck further to the back, but had a great view nonetheless, plenty of room and never felt crowded in. The show itself was amazing! So much music. Such passionate and talented musicians. I could tell they were all thrilled to be back and they all fed off the energy of the crowd. They played way longer than expected and it was brilliant! So glad we went and I would return to The Anthem again for a future show.
